marginalia || Olivia, by Ian Falconer

Dear Mr. Ian Falconerand, of course, Olivia,

I have a weakness for cute pigs.

Especially hyperactive pigs who want to learn about art.

The Boyfriend Ooh-ed and Aah-ed when I showed him the page where Olivia looks disdainfully at Jackson Pollock. How many of us have said, “But I can do that too!” and was sent to bed early for making such a mess?

Yours, and hugs,

Sasha

One of my favorite children’s picture books!

    1. It’s now one of mine. :)

  2. Hah – love that you’ve featured a picture book. I hate when I start falling into the trap of feeling like I can only talk about certain types of books!

    1. Like I said above, I’m partial to picture books about cute piglets, haha. I didn’t really review this–I think I just featured it and squealed all over it, ;p
